Colorful and Modern “Grand Millennial” Editorial Shootout at the Hillside Estate

In September of 2022 we hosted out first editorial shootout. We opened this shoot to only five photographers and videographers, and were grateful to almost sell out spots. My inspiration for the shoot was the current “grand millennial” interior design trend of combining maximalism with a colorful explosion - focusing on creating layers and moments of interest throughout. Intentionally ombré florals in bold hues from bright oranges and yellows to deep pinks and reds were backed with a fern green linen as a neutral. The blank slate of the Hillside Estate’s Ballroom allowed each color to shine. For a more modern look, specialty cut paper goods helped the colorful suite shine.
